What can delay the timeline
The most common delay is waiting on info from you — logo files, service list, photos, approval. The faster you send us what we need, the faster you go live. Delays on your end do not count against our 7-day commitment.

What's not included
Building a new page from scratch, adding a booking or scheduling system, e-commerce, or a full visual redesign. These require a separate quote. We'll always tell you upfront if something falls outside the plan.
Response time
All requests acknowledged within 4 business hours and completed within 48 business hours. Urgent updates (phone number, emergency notice) are prioritized and handled same day when possible.

Invoice delivery
All invoices sent via Wave to your email on file. Monthly invoices go out on the same calendar date each month — the date your site went live. Email notification always sent when an invoice is issued.
Payment method
Payment accepted via Venmo to @ForgesiteCo. Reply to your invoice email with "Paid" and your Venmo username so we can match it. Card payments coming soon.
Late payments
If unpaid after 14 days, we'll reach out via email and text. If still unpaid after 21 days, hosting may be temporarily paused. Your site and files are preserved — service resumes immediately on payment.
Refund policy
The $199 setup fee is non-refundable once design work has begun. Cancel before any work starts for a full refund. Monthly fees are not refunded for partial months — service continues through the paid period.

Service continues through current period
Your site stays live and fully operational through the end of your current billing period. Cancel on the 10th, billing date is the 25th — you have service through the 25th.
We package your files
Before service ends, we prepare a complete package of all your site files — HTML, CSS, images, and assets. Sent to you via email download link. You keep everything you paid for.
No final charges
Once you cancel, no further invoices are sent. Account closed, files delivered, done. You can host them anywhere you choose — Netlify, GoDaddy, Bluehost, anywhere.

During your subscription
We host and manage your site on our infrastructure while you're an active subscriber. You have full editorial control — request any change at any time. Content and design are yours; we handle the technical side.
If you cancel
Upon cancellation and settlement of any outstanding balance, we transfer 100% of your site files to you — all HTML, CSS, images, and assets. Host them anywhere.
Your domain
Your domain is always yours. We connect to it during your subscription — we never own or hold your domain. If you registered it on Namecheap, GoDaddy, or anywhere else, it stays in your account at all times.
Photos and content
Any photos, text, or content you provide belongs to you. Original copy or design we create is licensed to you fully upon payment. We don't retain rights to resell or reuse your site content.

Forgesite Co. provides website design, development, hosting, SSL management, mobile optimization, content updates, and basic local SEO for contractor and trades businesses. Services are delivered on a subscription basis consisting of a one-time setup fee and a recurring monthly subscription.
Service details, deliverables, and scope are as described on this page and in any written communication between Forgesite Co. and the client.
Setup fee: $199, due in full before any design or development work begins.
Monthly subscription: $99/month, invoiced on the same calendar date each month beginning with the month of launch.
First invoice: $298 total ($199 setup + $99 first month), due before work begins.

- No automatic charges — all payments manually initiated by the client
- Prices subject to change with 30 days written notice to existing subscribers
The $199 setup fee is non-refundable once design or development work has commenced. If a client cancels before any work has begun, the setup fee will be refunded in full within 5 business days.
Monthly subscription fees are not refunded for partial months. If a client cancels mid-month, service continues through the remainder of the paid period. No prorated refunds are issued.
The monthly subscription is month-to-month with no minimum commitment. Clients may cancel at any time by emailing hello@forgesiteco.com.

Forgesite Co. reserves the right to terminate service with 14 days notice for any reason, including non-payment, in which case all site files will be transferred to the client.
All website content, copy, and design assets created by Forgesite Co. for a client are the property of that client upon payment. Forgesite Co. does not retain rights to resell, redistribute, or reuse client site content.
Upon cancellation and settlement of any outstanding balance, all site files are packaged and transferred to the client at no additional charge. Domain names are always owned and controlled by the client.
The client is responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete business information
- Timely responses to requests for information or approvals during the build
- Ensuring all content provided (photos, text, logos) is owned or licensed by the client
- Notifying Forgesite Co. of errors or needed changes within a reasonable timeframe
Forgesite Co. is not liable for errors resulting from client-supplied content.
Forgesite Co. targets a 7-day turnaround from receipt of payment and required business information to a live website. This is a good-faith commitment, not a guarantee.
Delays caused by the client — late delivery of info, photos, logos, or approval — do not count against the 7-day target. Monthly content updates are completed within 48 business hours of request.
Forgesite Co. is not liable for:
- Lost revenue or business losses from website downtime, errors, or delays
- Third-party service outages affecting hosting or domain resolution
- Search engine ranking changes or loss of SEO position
- Consequences of client-provided inaccurate or unlicensed content
Maximum liability in all cases is limited to fees paid by the client in the current billing month. Forgesite Co. makes no guarantees regarding lead generation, rankings, or business results.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved under California law.
Forgesite Co. may update these terms at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of material changes via email with a minimum of 14 days notice before changes take effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance. Questions: hello@forgesiteco.com.

What we collect
Name, email address, phone number, and business details you provide when signing up or contacting us. Basic payment confirmation via Venmo — no card data is handled or stored by us.
How we use it
Solely to deliver your service — building your site, sending invoices, communicating about updates, and providing support. We don't use your information for advertising or sell it to anyone.
Third parties
We use Wave for invoicing and Venmo for payments. These platforms have their own privacy policies. We don't share your data with any other third parties for any purpose.
Your rights (CCPA)
California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal data at any time. Email hello@forgesiteco.com — we'll respond within 10 business days.
Data retention
We retain your business info and correspondence for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months after cancellation, then delete it. Invoice records may be retained longer for accounting purposes as required by law.
